DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN UGANDA WELCOME TO AFRICA
Your African journey begins at Entebbe International Airport, where the Mwoyo team will welcome you to Uganda the Pearl of Africa. After immigration and customs formalities, you will be privately transferred to your luxury accommodation in Entebbe. Depending on your arrival time, the remainder of the day can be enjoyed at an unhurried pace. You may choose to experience a beautiful Lake Victoria sunset, wander through the lush Entebbe Botanical Gardens, or simply settle into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed local dining experience. Tonight, rest well. Tomorrow, your journey continues south-west into the heart of Uganda's gorilla country. Day 2: TAKE TO THE SKIES INTO THE LAND OF THE GORILLAS
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe Airport for your domestic flight towards southwestern Uganda. As the aircraft leaves the shores of Lake Victoria, Uganda unfolds beneath you—a changing tapestry of water, farmland, forests, hills and rural communities. Your flight brings you closer to Bwindi and the dramatic landscapes surrounding the Albertine Rift.
On arrival, your Trip Drift guide will meet you and transfer you to your forest lodge. The afternoon is yours to enjoy.
Depending on your interests and arrival time, choose from an optional guided nature walk, community visit or cultural experience. You may also simply unwind at the lodge, surrounded by the sounds and atmosphere of the forest.
As evening falls, settle into your lodge and prepare for the experience that awaits tomorrow.

Day 3: THE GORILLA ENCOUNTER INTO THE ANCIENT FOREST
Today, you meet the giants of the forest. After an early breakfast, meet your professional guides and trackers before setting out into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The forest is ancient, dense and alive. Giant trees rise above you while vines, ferns and thick vegetation create a world unlike anywhere else. The trek itself is part of the adventure. Depending on where your assigned gorilla family is located, the hike may take several hours and can involve steep and challenging terrain. Your guides will lead the way, sharing their knowledge of the forest and helping you understand the remarkable ecosystem around you. And then, somewhere within the green silence, comes the moment you have travelled across the world to experience. You see them. A silverback watches from the forest. A mother tends to her young. Juveniles tumble, play and explore. And for a brief moment, the distance between human and wild seems to disappear. You will spend the permitted viewing time observing the gorilla family in its natural environment, guided by strict conservation protocols designed to protect both the animals and their habitat. It is an encounter that is difficult to describe until you have experienced it yourself. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-earned lunch and time to relax, reflect and take in the extraordinary experience of the day. Day 4: FAREWELL TO THE FOREST — RETURN TO ENTEBBE
Wake to the sounds of the forest and enjoy a final breakfast at your lodge. Depending on your flight schedule, there may be time for a relaxed morning experience before your transfer to the airstrip. Board your flight back towards Entebbe, watching the forests and hills gradually give way to the landscapes around Lake Victoria. On arrival, your Trip Drifteam will assist with your onward transfer and connection to your international departure. As your African journey comes to an end, you leave Uganda with more than photographs. You leave with a story.
